Michael Habersack Music

As I always do, I have analyzed music that I like.  Because I feel like I need to know why I like something- well its that and I’m kinda OCD.  And I was trying to figure out what the common thread is in the music I like, and I boiled it down to three things.

1. Killer Vocal Harmonies
2. Great Guitar (especially a good solo, not necessary but hey I’m a guitarist leave me alone)
3. An awesome, hooky chorus

This combination is almost like a drug for me.  I also noticed this pattern in the music that I write, which I try to add all three elements.  It of course doesn’t guarantee that everyone is going to love it, but whatever.  I just thought I’d throw this one out there.  Hopefully someone is reading, since I’m trying to write more often.
